It’s turning out to be an interesting day. Via Russell Beattie, I see that Opera has announced their web browser for the Nintendo DS! If there was one reason to choose the DS over a PSP, this would be it.

Did anyone notice the current Google logo? Is this the reason for all the “Google Tunes” rumours?

I’m only that nuts on drugs. Why the lucky stiff has released Camping, which is a ‘microframework’ in 4kb of code! It’s intended to be a Model-View-Controller framework like Ruby on Rails, but intended more for quick little apps that you can whip up in a single file. I like it. I like it because Notepad is better to write a “Hello, bitch!” app than Visual Studio.

I just noticed that Opera Mini has been updated. Now it is officially for public consumption. Changes from the previous public releases include two screen modes (compared to three previously), smooth scrolling (quite useful) and an in-built network connection tester. If Opera ever gets around to implementing JSR-75 in Mini, that will be the end of built-in browsers in Java-capable phones.

After several months of using Google’s feed reader exclusively, I’ve decided to make the switch back to Bloglines. I just can’t deal with not having folders that I can read as chronologically sorted groups. The ‘My Subscriptions’ pane in Google reader just doesn’t do it for me.
